Upon starting with Xypex WA in the BDP role I accepted, in my mind my tenure was going to be a short one due to being made redundant from a Sales and Ops management position in the precast concrete industry. Spending over a decade in the sales space before moving to Management, at the time I was feeling like I was taking a step backwards in my career… but boy was I wrong.

Now being at the business for over 6 years and moving from the BDP position into the State Managers role, it has provided lots of opportunity for growth both personally and professionally. Being a part of the leadership group and responsible for the state growth in WA with the team I have, is a lot of fun and it’s a joy to be a part of a great business culture that lives and breathes our values every day in all that we do.

My purpose in my career is to provide guidance and positivity to peers so that I can influence them to become more than they thought they could be and Xypex is most definitely a place that provides the space to do this. - Jason Alford, Business Development Manager - WA
